Be Able to Visit the Integratron

Hi everyone,
Grab a cup of your beverage & check out my video for my first visit to the Integratron in Landers, California.

I was fortunate enough to get here and I am so happy I did, this place was a nice meditative getaway for me.

After surgery, my body went through a lot and being in this vibrational frequency location gave me so much clarity and cleared a lot of stagnant energy.

Can’t wait to visit again! It was such a worth-while and peaceful experience.

Be Okay With Losing Your Pet

A Pets Prayer for Their Owner

If it should be, that I grow frail and weak,
And pain should keep me from my sleep,
Then, you must do what must be done
For this last battle, cannot be won.

For this day more than the rest,
Your love and friendship has stood the test.
We’ve had so many years,
What is to come can hold no fears.

You wouldn’t want me to suffer so
When the time comes, please let me go.
Hold me firm and speak to me
Until my eyes no longer see.

Although my tail its last has waved,
From pain and suffering, I’ve been saved.
We’ve been so close through these years,
Don’t let your heart hold on to the tears.

Hi all,

This day marks my dad’s 60th birthday and the last night of our furry family member – Wowie.

My dad named Wowie that evening he came home from work. As we surrounded the puppy box,  my dad told us a story of a similar dog he had while growing up. Hence,  the name stuck. We thought he was quite a sophisticated dog, so we gave him a longer name, “Walter Wowie.”

After 16 years of friendship, Wowie will be making his transition.  At 103 dog years, Wowie has been such a joy to my life and others. It’s immensely heart-breaking to have him put to sleep but it’s just as saddening to see him struggle so much.

He will always be a special part of the family and I’ll never forget Walter Wowie – the classy, wise and happy dog.

I love you dad – I intend that you are blessed with so much more than you can imagine.

I love you Wowie – thank you for being such a sweet, furry family member.

With Gratitude,

Kimberly

Be Able to Listen to Podcasts

Happy holidays hello to everyone!
I know podcasts  have been around for a few years now but my love for it has grown deeper recently. I’ve been listening to podcasts for several months now and I thought I’d just share my two cents on why I enjoy listening to them.

Podcasts are just not the same as listening to the radio because 1: The commercials are zero to just one. 2: Most of the hosts have a credible background of information. 3: You can repeat it, pause and fast-forward it a show. The radio is awesome but sometimes you can choose exactly what topic you wan to hear and with podcast, you get that topic you’re craving for at that time.

5 Reasons why I Love Podcasts:

1. Free ninety-nine: It’s freeeeee! and so accessible!

2. Aha!: Super informative, funny and inspiring. I can get my daily dose of new info., laughter and an added motivational punch. Excellent combo!

3. Speed: A great way to make the time fly by quickly while gathering thought-provoking material. If you’re in the office all day, this is a life saver!

4. Repeat: I can repeat any show and recall anything I forgot or play it again with a friend that I know will truly enjoy the podcast.

5. Bond: Sounds corny but it feels like these hosts are my friends after listening to them so much.

My current favorite podcasts are:

What your your favorite podcasts? Any advice on which ones to check out?

Be Able to Dig

Hi everyone!

I wanted to share a collection of the rocks that I collected last weekend. It was such a worthwhile experience! My main purpose of getting these rocks and gems is to create honest, powerful and healing energies to all that may wear the pieces that I hand-make. If you had an idea, you can ask me and I can see what I can do to twist something in motion.

Here’s my digging and sorting adventure!

IMG_1249 IMG_1251 IMG_1255 IMG_1259 IMG_1268 IMG_1269 IMG_1270 IMG_1289

Some tips if you decide to go:

-The drive up has a lot of lose, big rocks – drive slow or take a truck if you have one.

-Bring lots of water, some sunnies, SPF and a hot – it gets hot!

-Bring a 5 gal (or less) bucket to bring home all the pieces you want.

-Bring some type of pop-up shading tent to block the sun.

-Gloves recommended but mine got wet after awhile so your hands will get rough afterwards.

-You will get dirty but have fun with it!

Be Able to Help Others

IMG_9045(Tiny needs to see his friend, he might be in need of help!)

Have you ever wanted to help someone out but it would cost you too much so you just didn’t end up doing it?

I was reminded of this today because I heard a  short story about this individual’s father who didn’t want to put in a good word for this other person who wanted to get her feet wet at this certain workplace.

Immediately, I felt disheartened because I thought to myself,  “How hard is it to say something positive about someone else?” I understand that most people take their professional jobs or careers very seriously and they wouldn’t want to jeopardize it in order to get someone hired. However, how much would it hurt just to say something positive about someone else and leave it at that. At least the seed was planted in a respected manner and a window of opportunity could have opened up.

I think that we think too much and we over-analyze what the heart says to do. We create this huge “what-if” bubble that turns into a hundred other bubbles and we simply just give up. We end up keeping our mouths closed and that small opportunity is left closed. I know that there are certain types of situations where we simply can’t help others due to financial concerns or not enough time but your heart knows when you have the capacity to help other people.

I truly do believe that we’re all brothers and sisters and we do have a responsibility to look out for one another.

I’m lucky to have someone that teaches me this lesson almost every day. Those kind acts touch a lot of people in more ways that we can ever know. That’s what makes life richer, enjoying those moments that we get an opportunity and utilize our skills.

I try and re-pay those who have looked out for me, either with sending them positive thoughts, sending them a cheerful text or even sending a birthday card. We all matter and we all need breaks to show how great of a job we can do.

You can always help someone.

Be Open to Tai Chi

Hi all,

Happy 2015!

Along with new intentions and perspectives for the new year, I came across something I’ve been wanting to try for a long time but never looked into. It wasn’t until today that I was ready to try Tai Chi.

What is Tai Chi?

To quote the Wiki,

It’s an internal Chinese martial art practiced for both its defense training and its health benefits. It is also typically practiced for a variety of other personal reasons: its hard and soft martial art technique, demonstration competitions, and longevity. As a result, a multitude of training forms exist, both traditional and modern, which correspond to those aims. Some of t’ai chi ch’uan’s training forms are especially known for being practiced with relatively slow movement.

Today, t’ai chi ch’uan has spread worldwide. Most modern styles of t’ai chi ch’uan trace their development to at least one of the five traditional schools: Chen, Yang, Wu (Hao), Wu, and Sun.

IMG_7276

I am a little late on practicing Tai Chi but it’s better late than never and I’m a firm believer that the Universe allows us to experience situations when we’re ready. So finally, I WAS READY! =)

I searched a Tai Chi video on YouTube and the one that I watched was Daily Tai Chi – join in this 8-minute exercise

Immediately after the video, I felt extremely calm and peaceful. I just had to share it!

Reasons why I extremely enjoyed my beginners Tai Chi practice:

  • It was super easy to follow and I kid you not, I got a hair-raising. feeling.
  • It just felt SO natural and relaxing.
  •  I especially like the breathing that goes into it. In yoga, they emphazise the importance of breathing and in Tai Chi it just flows so smoothly with the moves.
  • I also like how Tai Chi incorporated the energy aspect. That’s perhaps where I got a lot of the goosebumps.
  • Just allowing that positive energy around you feels amazing.
  • I can easily do this for 8 minutes a day!

So if you feel so inclined, try it out! With YouTube readily available, you can find which video suits you best.

I intend that you all have a great week and continue to live a life of happy, holistic health!

Be Open to Opportunities-How Opportunities Come to You

IMG_0264

Hey all,

Today, I was thinking how opportunities work and I’ve narrowed it down to a few factors. I’ve met a few people who have been waiting for that golden door to open in their lives and they’ve already taken the necessary steps to get to where they want to be but those opportunities just aren’t knocking. What’s the big delay?

Opportunities are luck the rest is divided into these 3 factors:

Your  deservability – What type of skills and knowledge do you possess and how efficient of an individual are you? What kind of go-getter are you capable of improving whatever it is that you’re yearning for. If you have what it takes and can apply answers to those questions, you’re well on your way!

You’r willingness to accept this new opportunity – Some people have opportunities dealt to them but they have so much fear inside of them that they don’t accept. Fear is scary because it can create something that isn’t even real. I’m guilty of this – I’ve made up things in my mind that had absolutely no relevance to my life and realizing that made it much more easier to accept new opportunities without feeling so anxious.

Let the goodness come in and toss your fear outta there.

Timing-I firmly believe that everything happens at the right time and space. Sometimes we get a flat tire on a way to a job interview or our GPS craps out on our way to a wedding and yes, those are “wrong timing” but I’m sure those times where meant to happen to see how much you really wanted something.

The Universe gives you what you need when you are deserving and open to new changes. The Universe never forgets about you and know everything you need and when you need it.

Now these are all my opinions that have gathered through my life experiences (and some of others that I know) so feel free to debate or leave your experience at the comment section. I’d love to hear from you!

Have a great day!

Be Able To Prioritize

158

First things first –

Lately, I’ve noticed that between the holiday gatherings and having to attend my grandfather’s services, that I have been scattered beyond words. I’ll admit that I haven’t been able to remember to breathe in between takes but today which is just straining on the body. However, I finally have some time to be able to prioritize what needs to be done. The first and foremost was rest (which luckily, I’ve gotten much of) and the next is to feed my passion which is why I am writing today. To me, being ale to encourage or uplift just one person is fulfilling my passion.

To prioritize can be difficult especially when it feels as if you’ve got a million things going on. I personally want to start on several tasks today but I know that making a list and putting the most important things first will help me. Even though I’ve got heaps of free time today, I know there was a lot of things I’ve put to the back-burner so today, I will alleviate those tasks.

Here are some ways that help me to prioritize and this may help you too, they include:

Asking my inner self – When I have a lot of free time and I don’t know where to start, I ask my inner self, “Self, what needs to be done at this very moment?” And I take a pause and I listen, with an open mind and open heart. This allows you to choose the right action at the right moment. To build this inner-connection with yourself, just be silent and still. Closing your eyes and isolating yourself can help too

My Clear App on my phone and my phone’s calendar – These apps help me to remember what absolutely needs to be accomplished and when it needs to be done. No “if’s” “and” or “but’s” it must get done. Ex.) Paying bills or taking my vitamins.

Clearing my space – Sometimes, I have to clear my desk or room before beginning my tasks for the day. There will be less of a distraction to organize receipts and taking the trash out.

Announce your personal time off – If you live with other people in the household, you can put up a sign outside your door that you’ll be busy for the next 30 minutes or so. Or, you can humbly tell them that you need to catch up on something important and explain to them why you need this time and that you’ll be back in x-amount of minutes or if you’re lucky, hours.

Set a time limit – If you’re at a gathering and you’ve got something else that needs to be done that same day, then limit your engagement to a certain time. You can let the hostess know that you will only be able to stay for a few minutes or hours just so they’ll have a heads-up. Don’t lose track of time or you might end up regretting it when you get home. It’s hard to put restrictions on fun events but you’ll thank yourself when you’ve accomplished your important task(s) and you’re not burnt out come the following week.

I’m grateful I was able to release some of my hectic-feelings that I’ve had these past weeks. Using my ways to prioritize, I do feel more calm and ready to take on the new year.

Here’s to 2014!

037

This is my grandpa at 81, he asked me to take his picture eating the delicious lobster. I’m glad I did, he was so happy here!

This evening, my 81-year old grandfather transitioned to a new life. It was hard seeing him suffer in this physical realm but I’m sure every event and moment was meant to be. I am so happy that his physical suffering is over and that he’s able to see his family in heaven. I’m sure there’s a lot of lobster there, Lolo!

I love you with all my heart and I’ll will forever cherish those memories we have together. I will always be your first granddaughter and your one millionth admirer.

Thanks to your light, love and generosity, you have definitely made this world a better place.

Thank you

for every happy meal

for every smile

for your thoughtfulness

loving grandma with all your heart

for sharing your chocolates

for my mother

for my family

I love you Lolo Lao

Be Able to Make Decisions

IMG_0198[1]

Decision-making can be difficult for some of us, especially if it’s a life-changing one that requires a lot of “thinking”. I know that for me,  I’ve has some trouble with making my own decisions in the past because I’d complicate and dissect every part of the decision I was going to make. That dissection opened more issues that I didn’t want to deal with and the logic behind each one just left me with a big headache.

After reading and listening to some of my older wise friends, something clicked in my mind. I was at a book club with my Spiritmind sisters and we were talking about the book we’re currently reading, “The 12 Sacred Principles of Karma” by Steven Hairfield and a discussion came up about intuition.

That evening, my friend was talking about how she has gotten her intuition to work positively for her. She said that many times, her first instinct reaction has always been the one she needed in the future. That first answer you get at the pit of your stomach (or your heart chakra) when you ask yourself  a question, is the only answer you’ll need.

That was an “Aha!” moment for me. Of course I’ve heard this many, many times before but that evening, when she said it-it just made sense to me as if the stars all aligned for a quick minute. So from then on out, I’ve decided to listen to my first gut reaction and I’m not going back and thinking twice about it.

The best result I’ve gotten from this is that it greatly releases the stress and worry that we add on to our daily lives. Imagine being able to make a firm decision and sticking to it. Luckily, some of us have gotten this down already and have been reaping all the benefits, so do keep it up! and keep strengthening that intuition because the world needs positive leaders.

I intend that you can go confidentially in the direction of your dreams.

A special thank you to all of our Veteran’s and those who have risked their lives for our freedom. Much peace, love and light to all of you.
