Be Able to Embrace Your Own Style

What’s your flavor?

This past week, I had a  long conversation about how people have different tastes. I noticed that everyone has their own preferences and likes and at a certain time in your life you begin to own it. During our younger years in school, it’s a little more difficult because we don’t know exactly know who and what we’re striving to be. We want to try everything and anything.  At a younger age, our typical cares are about different things so we often get side-tracked and unaware of what we want. This phase can be very tricky so you learn what you DO want versus what you DON’T want.  Later on as we mature and grow up, we begin to notice the habits we’ve developed and what we want to do with our lives. Our own lifestyle, vales and beliefs begin to be  and we  begin to live it out and we make it our own.

Why we should embrace our own style?

If we are content with our lifestyle (even if it’s not to our liking just yet), we are expressing gratitude and in my books, gratitude is the attitude for positive abundance. Own up to your positive style and be thankful to have experienced what you’ve experienced so far & having everything that you currently DO have. I’m reminded of my favorite quote, “You have to be before you can do, and you have to do before you can have.” -Dr. Rob Anthony

Embracing your own personal style is what allows us to be confident and happy in life. When our gratitude is shown then the whole world has another light that is shining and bringing a vibrant energy to our force field. According to a fact sheet from the University of Nevada, it says that, “Energy fields do not seem to have inevitable outcomes, but seem to be influenced by what people do.”

But what if you’re still searching for a style?

If you’re still uncertain about what style to take on, I’d suggest finding a mentor or someone you resonate with. Take some of their qualities/traits and use them as your own if you feel comfortable with it. The more you are comfortable and confident, the more you can begin to define your life’s purpose. The more you define your purpose, the more meaningful life will be.

Quick & Simple Affirmations to  Help Own Your Style:

  • I am happy  with my lifestyle.
  • I make my decisions with ease.
  • I am always healthy and alive.
  • My daily tasks are important to me and benefits other people.
  •  I am always moving towards positive directions.
  • I am present and aware.

Be Humble

Hope your week is going by nice and smoothly as we come across the second week of the New Year.

On my mind today is the topic of being humble. I always associate being humble with being grateful because we can always remember to be grateful for all the little things in our life that don’t carry a price tag.

Being humble comes from within us and knowing that material things can never equate to long term happiness. Being humble is a way of being grateful for every single thing you have in your life and not asking for more because you know that you have enough. Humbleness is knowing that you’ve been so blessed and that everything else that may come into your life is are blessings and gifts from the Universe.

The Universe knows exactly what you need and will always provide for your needs it you believe it to be so. If you are thankful for what you already have, you will automatically attract more good in your life. The choice is always up to you, you can think in lack or you can think in abundance!

If you acquire much and enjoy material things, then so be it! Just remember to help those who are in need and don’t let your ego get the best of who you are. It’s not easy not wanting the latest trends or gadgets out in the market, especially when there are advertisements virtually everywhere.

Never let your material things define who you are as a human being because your character and the value that you provide to others is what are most important. Be there for the most important parts of your life such as your loved ones and yourself. Good luck on your humble journey through life.

It is always the secure who are humble.  -Gilbert Keith Chesterton

Be Grateful for 2012

Hi Everyone!

Thank you so much for joining me through this blessed year.

I truly appreciate all of you for stopping by and hopefully gaining some new tips and words of encouragement.

Tomorrow is the last day of 2012 and what an amazing year it has been. I know we all go through different experiences everyday which in turn creates a more beautiful life. I do heart-fully intend that you all have a wonderful 2013, filled with abundant laughter, love, safety, good health and prosperity.

If you’re having some trouble on setting your new years resolutions or intentions,

I’ve come up with some great ideas on some powerful thoughts to bring in for 2013:

-Be grateful for everything you have in your life right now, for the Universe knows what you need and want in this lifetime.

-Never take anything or anyone for granted, everyone is in your life because they are here to teach you something.

-Be humble and always come from within your heart, your intuition knows exactly what’s good for you; listen to it.

-Do not lead with your ego and pride.

-Clearly set your intentions and visualize what you want in your life, whether it be writing it down on paper or typing it up. Let it be precise and to your liking.

-Clear all negative thoughts for they are just toxic to your mind.

-Give love and you will receive love.

-Forgive those who have hurt you this year and send them love and light.

-Bless those who have it harder than you and send them light and safety.

-Call, text, e-mail or visit your family members, for they love and miss you.

-Venture out and see what’s out there, there may be a whole different life outside your city or country.

I hope those spark some good thoughts and continue to encourage you and those around you!

Happy 2013 and have a meaningful new year.
