My Grandpa…

When he turned 60 years old (don’t ask me what I’m doing) lol

NYE 2011!

This is my grandpa at 81, he asked me to take his picture eating the delicious lobster. I’m glad I did, he was so happy here!

This evening, my 81-year old grandfather transitioned to a new life. It was hard seeing him suffer in this physical realm but I’m sure every event and moment was meant to be. I am so happy that his physical suffering is over and that he’s able to see his family in heaven. I’m sure there’s a lot of lobster there, Lolo!

I love you with all my heart and I’ll will forever cherish those memories we have together. I will always be your first granddaughter and your one millionth admirer.

Thanks to your light, love and generosity, you have definitely made this world a better place.

Thank you

for every happy meal

for every smile

for your thoughtfulness

loving grandma with all your heart

for sharing your chocolates

for my mother

for my family

I love you Lolo Lao

Rest in Peace Lolo Jaime Lao

  1. He sounds like he was a lovely man and the perfect grandfather. There is sorrow in the loss and yet there is joy in knowing that loss is really a transformation. Love and blessings to you and your family Kim.
